-
To begin, please download and read TB-011(Engine Certification) for a summary of the need for certification and an implementation timeline.
-
Download and read the RMVR Inspection Process document, developed by Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing to provide a simple way of ensuring critical compliance elements, relating to valvetrain and compression.
-
To verify camshafts are compliant with NVFFA rules we provide an Excel file on Cam Lobe Plotting and a PDF graph of the legal cam profile.
-
A compression ratio calculator is provided for FF engines, which serves both home engine builders and professionals alike, as difficult-to-measure values - spark plug chamber volume and valve head protrusion - are standardized.
-
Every engine build from 2026 onward should be accompanied by the NVFFA Engine Certification Form
