All parts of the roll bar that may come in contact with the driver's helmet (including bracing), must be padded with minimum 1/2" thick FSI 45.1 or FIA Type A high density roll bar padding.

If your car (CF or PCF) is equipped with a front roll hoop, even though it is not part of the VRG/FFCS Rulebook, the FFCS Executive Committee recommends your helmet fits below  the line drawn from the top of the main roll hoop to the top of the front roll hoop (aka "Broomstick test").

Most Historic Fords do not have a front roll hoop; therefore, this recommendation does not apply.
