Section D article XII should cover this - car should appear "as raced", and I believe egregious examples of re-engineering would not be accepted in a vintage/historic class. As a topic of debate it is interesting. As a practical matter, working with an existing CF chassis, gains are no doubt possible but also marginal. As UCI now regulates sock height for bicycle time trialing, we know there is no end to improvement, but vintage FF is not the most appropriate place to prove one's credentials in aerodynamics. That's just a personal opinion here at the end of a long day . . .
